During 2020-2025 , we were given many chances by divine to heal ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, financially etc, basically to question our entire belief system. The time from March 2025- May 2025 is a crucial time for mankind to open their eyes and make the choice. This year is a major turning point in our lives.
Let’s understand the energy of this year by understanding one major lesson from Mahabharata.
🐚 I feel, Mahabharata didn’t happen because of Shakuni and duryodhan mainly. What they did, deserved punishment within a time frame but the inaction of the wisest and the mightiest delayed the timely justice which lead to a war. Those who were supposed to stand up and fight , didn’t.
Why?
because they chose their personal oaths and promises over the oath and promise of supreme dharma and welfare of all.
Their higher purpose and duty was meant to be of utmost importance as higher purpose is always divine, it must be our primary priority in life and when we put it first everything else itself aligns.
On the contrary, when we create karma based on our ego, pride, never ending desires, based on our personal promises and oaths to our closed ones who are on path of adharma but since we owe them, we choose them or maybe they have manipulated us into thinking we owe them when in reality they owe us , so when we keep our personal matters above the supreme matters- we create karmic debt tied to this maya world and even a higher debt tied to the divine world so ask yourself which debt is heavier ?
Let’s understand by reading this short story ~ Mr. Satya borrowed a thousand rupees from Mr. Mithya, a month later he was walking to Mr. Mithya’s house to return it but on the way, he came across some people running to repair the dam on the outskirts of the town and they needed this amount of money to buy some materials urgently but nobody had this money or even if they had it or not that was not the debate, the main point is the one who was having this money must help right away, must intervene right away to save not just the people of this city but other cities too. This money belonged to Mr. Mithya but Mr. Satya became the medium who chose the ‘supreme dharma’ in the situation and saved a million lives. Later that day, Mr. Satya told Mr Mithya that he spent the money now he needs more time to repay!
Alas! Mr. Mithya didn’t realise the absolute truth ( param satya) of money being spent in saving them all and he demanded the money as soon as possible with an ungrateful frown upon his face.
If Mr Satya had not known the supreme dharma and acted upon it in a timely manner, the creditor,the debtor and a million others would have died.
Mr. Satya was worried about how he would repay Mr. Mithya, and to his surprise, the government announced a reward of 10 lakh rupees for him the same day.
The divine blessed him with thousand times of that money by choosing the government and the blessings of million people as a medium! We all our mediums, some of us choose to become the mediums of divine and some choose to become mediums of devil.
Mr. Satya repaid this debt and he decided to spend the rest of the money in starting a venture that would bring love and healing to all living beings and some profound learnings for human beings.
And so, surrounded by the lives he saved, Mr. Satya realised that his soul got redeemed by divine himself!
I hope this story helps you in understanding the divine order, the supreme dharma and how your karma is a choice which creates ripple effects and how your birth is a soul coming to this world inside a human body for some higher purpose!
Vasudev aka Krishna left his family, friends behind, he left behind the trees he grew up playing under, trees that gave shelter and shade to the divine creator of all creation himself , trees like a mother’s arms wrapped around her baby and he loved them just like a baby loves and longs for his mother, he left behind the animals and birds who never had enough of his caress and love , he left behind his beloved Radha Rani because he chose ‘Supreme dharma‘ ☸️
He was ‘Narayana‘ himself and he incarnated in human form as Krishna , he chose what the divine in him – ‘Narayana’ must do rather than what the human in him ‘Krishna’ must do !
When the gods and goddesses incarnate as humans, they respect human form, human duties, human bonds and all the things that happens to human beings. They don’t dodge physical, mental, emotional, social pain. Imagine the divine takes birth in human form and respects it but we humans take birth with divinity inside of us and choose to ignore it, choose to never find it, to never align with it!
We too can act on soul level /God level which is “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or we can act only on human level which is a karmic entity running on Maaya programming. The best would be to learn to balance both till we attain nirvana, We too can and must follow ahimsa paramo dharma, dharma himsa tathaiva cha, which means Non – Violence is the supreme dharma so is Violence if needed in restoring and / or protecting supreme dharma.
Others should have intervened directly to end the wicked propaganda of Shakuni and Duryodhan. This way, others would have failed to uphold their personal oaths but when it comes to such a choice, failing anything or anyone for the “higher purpose” must be chosen without any doubt, specially failing wicked people on a wicked path that serves only their endless greed, bruised fragile ego, low self esteem, jealousy, rivalry and Machiavellianism.
If while reading this, a question arises in your mind that if they would have chosen the higher purpose then how Mahabharata would have happened? If you feel that whatever is meant to happen, happens!
